Story Behind The Song
I originally wrote this song for a political campaign. Many of the words did still relate to today. I had to adjust a few like take out a person's name. He won his campaign by the way and remained our Senator for a while. He was a good man and I helped him on his campaign.
Song Description
This song is about how we need to come together and stop attacking each other. United we stand divided we fall. We should be propping each other up not not tearing each other down.

Lyrics
We Just Got To Believe Again
by Rusty Newcomer
Where have all the good times gone?
Leaving us standing all alone
It seems so much has just been slipping away
Now I'm mad as hell and I won't take that crap
I won't give up till I beat this rap
I stand for truth and the good ole American way
We just got to believe again
We're on the move now and then
We just got to believe again
We just need someone to believe in
I remember when I was young
Being middle class was lots of fun
But now today we just slave it all away
We all bought American goods And we
Used our taxes at home like we should
Now we're backing down we just give it all away
(Lead)
We just got to believe again
We're on the move now and then
We just got to believe again
We just need someone to believe in
Now These politicians just ain't the same
Get us all in trouble make us go insane
Their promises always just turn into a lie
Now I can't explain and I don't know why
It seems like they all wish that we would die
When things go wrong there'll be nobody left to blame
We just got to believe again
We're on the move now and then
We just got to believe again
We just need somebody to believe in
We just got to believe again
We just got to believe again
We just got to believe again
We just need someone to believe in
