Prelude for Moonlit Roses in C Minor

Story Behind The Song

I wrote this thinking about a romantic moonlit night.

Song Description

A soothing tune to make you think about falling in love

Song Length 5:21 Genre Classical - Contemporary, Classical - General
Tempo Medium (111 - 130) Mood Serene, In High Spirits
Subject Falling in Love, Femininity Era 2000 and later

This one has a dramatic feeling to it, and I can picture a classic scene of emotional and personal distress between characters. The choice of instruments work pretty well for the sound that you're going for. The song takes an interesting turn at around 2:00 which has a lighter feeling, but then we go back to drama soon after. Overall, I like the direction you went with this and I hope to hear more from you soon!

I enjoy this piece. The harmonic rhythm of this piece is not predictable, and yet allows you to follow and understand it immediately. Well written. This song is a wonderful collection of rhythmic motifs layered against simple melodic motifs that are easily remembered. In fact, the song makes you remember them. I enjoyed this piece.
