Lyrics

I Love My Man
by Kathy Hartman

I love my man Yes I love my man
I love my man I'm as happy as a clam
I love my man He's always in my plan
I love my man Better than my frying pan
He's always there to help me through
He'll even tie my shoe
And if we're mad it don't last
We always have a blast Cause
I love my dude I'll always make his food
I love my guy Even when I poke him in the eye
I love my boy He looks just like a toy
We're all for one and one for all
We stand together but we ain't that tall
And when we go we go as one
That way we have more fun
Hey Why did the lights go out
Oh yeah We forgot to pay the electric bill
I love my man Yes I love my man
We're a team so it seems we'll be together for evermore
And when we golf he'll swing the club After I yell fore
We go to work in our ice cream truck
To put money in the bank
On our way to a job we ran out of gas
He forgot to fill the tank
But I love my man Yes I love my man
A beak beak beak beak beak beak beak beak
I love my man

What a scream! I absolutely LOVED this crazy song! It made me smile. It was so corny and fun. The writer obviously threw caution and convention to the wind when writing it, and I loved every word. The simple humor of it really touched my funny bone. The instrumentation was perfectly suited to the melody and lyrics. After I read the lyrics I liked them even more. Happy as a clam. The ice cream truck. Running out of gas, working as a team. This is a great love song. Heck you've got to laugh at yourselves to make the relationship succeed, right. Bravo! Chuckle! Absolutely loved it!

What fun! " Oi love my maaan" in New Jersey and New York City patois. Tinky tonk music and wonderful parody voice. Great sense of humor. I love it. It is truly unique. makes me think of Fanny Brice. Looking forward to seeing who wrote it. I hope there are more of the kind. Good Luck.

Oh God, I can't believe how much I love this song. It sounds like the 1920's in a New York speakeasy with a slightly modern thing going on. Couldn't stop laughing!
