Story Behind The Song

I was the chairperson of the Health, Safety and Environmental Committee at our plant! One task I was asked to do was to write the procedures for entering our 226 confined spaces. At that time the percentage of oxygen in the air was 21.2%. The range in order for humans to survive is 19.5% - 23.5%. If we get out of this range no-one will survive! The percentage of oxygen today is 20.95%. If you take 20.95% times .2 that equals 4.19%. Now take 20.95% minus 4.19% that equals 16.76%!!! We're all dead!!! I wrote this song to raise awareness as to where we all could be headed!!! The level is dropping!!! WAKE UP! As the Blues Legend Leadbelly said, we all need WOKE!!! This is not a toe tapping make me happy song, it's designed to make people aware of this danger!!! So,,, Get WOKE!!!

Song Description

When our former president angered the Chinese so they began to buy their corn and soybeans from Argentina! The then president of Brazil went on a campaign to clear the Rain Forest so they could get in on the money grab. One fifth of our oxygen comes out of that forest! This action would lower the oxygen levels to a level that not one human on the planet could survive!
