Story Behind The Song
My brother Scott has recently taken up lyric writing. He had a piece that had a recurring line "There is a rumor going around" that repeated in the verses. I felt that that was the hook of the song. His theme, to me, was one about the difficulty distinguishing truth from fiction so I took that as a jumping off point and this is what came out.
