Story Behind The Song
Mars and the Moon have been dancing in the night sky this summer along with Saturn and Jupiter. I wanted to find the song in the feeling I get when I gaze at them and the stars pondering infinity and mortality.
Infinity divided by mortality equals joy! (I did the math).
Song Description
The fragility of life and the importance of enjoying it as much as possible.

Lyrics
Me, the Moon, and Mars
I cant wait to begin - another fine day that's come my way that I am in
Feelin' good - it ain't no sin - I just wanna have another laugh or two again
On the edge of a knife - come and join the dance of life
Feelin' fine it ain't no crime
Holding on to what I can - memory is changing, rearranging like drifting sand
I can't hide away from time - but I am gonna try to clear my mind to understand
Gonna' try to forgive - and to live and let live
To let go - to learn to fly
And when the night is clear - the stars so far they're near
I can feel forever smiling back at me
Oh I will someday reach those stars
Says me, the moon, and Mars
Says me, the moon, and Mars
I live in my time and place - mirroring the world that binds me in it's warm embrace
Iv'e been hurt - so many ways - but love is always there behind wearing another face
Even out on the ice - in the cold dark of night
There's a light - to guide me home
And when the night is clear - the stars so far they're near
It could take forever, but now is all I need
Oh oh I will someday reach those stars
Says me, the moon, and Mars
Says me, the moon, and Mars
