Story Behind The Song

I wrote it for American Idol to sing at close of show it didn't make it. I just wanted a song showing that you can make life out of something if you just stop and see there are those who can't and wish they could. Being a vet myself I have seen many that need support. I have built a recording studio for vets to record. And all proceeds from this song will go to support it and them.

Nice subtle yet lush intro that leads well into the verse. The additive orchestration supports the song nicely. The soft background harmonies are very nice also. The faintest color added by the English horn or oboe catches your attention almost subliminally and adds interest and mood well. Nice lyrics and vocal performance. I enjoyed listening very much.
