Will we hear anything like this on the more popular airwaves these days? Let's put it this way: it's a horrible shame there isn't because we need more sweet songs like this to soften the hearts of society! Now onto the song...I enjoy the violins and the plucking of harps. This is a charming lilting melody with lyrics to match, the kind that Claudia Schmidt might record. Lyrically it plays with words about nature and weaves them into a relationship about love in the same lilting way. Nicely done!
Absolutely beautiful song with a fantastical European folk influence. I could easily hear this song in a movie like "Chronicles of Narnia" or even "Maleficent."
This sounds like a throwback to the magic folk era of the 60's.
Sweet and polished number.
I saw a pitch for a song like this recently, about flowers and sunshine. Good job.
Very light and pleasant to listen to.
Nice touches in the mix.
I will definitely have a listen to more of your music.
What a lovely song! Simply delicious........... Sweet, easy voices. Music and voices that together produce a silvery sound. Love the fiddle, it is used creatively and to great effect here. I hope this song gets heard far beyond here. The lyrics, through no fault of the song, I can not hear clearly, alas, but the idea of the clinging honeysuckle fits the music, and I gathered there was a memory of a special time in the song.
Great vocals and harmonies. Nice instrumentation. Good lyrics. I like the violin.
I like the vocals. Very clear and great harmony. This reminds me of something Judy Collins would sing. I like the way "honeysuckle" is the link to everything. I the single note articulation at the end of a line (harp?). I think this song tells a great human story as well. Don't know how original the subject is (same goes for my own music), but it is very well-done. I like this kind of song.
Great instrumentation! Nice happy tune. Takes me to the country!
