Story Behind The Song

This song was one of the first songs I wrote and sang on back in 1990. It started off as a very progressive song with heavy Rush influences when it was first conceived. After years of playing and performing the song, it took on an entire new feel with this acoustic version. In the studio, we were able to experiment with a Middle Eastern flair including tablas and various string instruments. It took on an entire new feel. The original song recorded in 1991 (with terrible vocals) is on this site - one of the first songs I uploaded in my 20+ years on Broadjam. Enjoy!
