With the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary and the death of my friend a few days before christmas, I wondered, "how can people be joyful and celebrate the holiday in the midst of such sadness?" We can take comfort in this truth ... because of the HOPE we have in Christ and the gift of eternal life through our SAVIOR Jesus, there is reason to celebrate! Jesus has overcome the darkness of this hurting world! And that is what Christmas is all about...
