Story Behind The Song
Wrote it in the early 80's with different lyrics. Played it live with a couple bands I used to gig with, it always got good reaction from the audience. When recording it I hired a singer but fired him when he was going out between takes and getting stoned
Song Description
Like I said working a job that you hate and you hate your boss even more so you become a slave to pay bills...you see, I walked in dark valleys and this song is about a deep valley...I am glad I am out.

Lyrics
I work all day breakin my back I come home feel like lying in the sack a kiss from my baby would make me feel fine. Ooh make it alomst worth while. The harder I work the less I want to try and every now and then I am wondering why. Do I do it for you do I do it for me do I do it for love or do I do it for the money.Ooh I'm a working fool always playing by the rules Workin for nothin getting nothing from workin, ooh I'm a working fool...ooh I'm a working fool always playin by the rules get up each and give it all I got ain't got o silverspoon and a criminal I'm not...I'm just a working fool doing it all for you...
