Story Behind The Song
It is no exaggeration to say that Jim Papoulis is a globally recognized leader in his #1 genre -- Choral music. He and I have been partners/friends for years. (He did the arrangement for me of the state anthem of Virginia, "Our Great Virginia", which I'm proud to have authored.
His music -- including this song, in particular -- has been featured at important special occasions ... from the inauguration of President Obama and other events of stature (opening of a Holocaust Museum for example.)
