Song Description
It started with the murders of kids and adults at Sandy Hook Elementary School, in Newtown Ct. (Dec. 14, 2012)
A composer-partner, Jim Papoulis, was asked to write a choral song in memory of those lost lives. He turned to me for the lyrics. I wanted my words not only to honor the lost lives at Sandy Hook ... but also as a voice for anyone who's lost a person they've loved and were/are inspired by.

Lyrics
VERSE:
In my mind, I still can see you
Close my eyes, and you are here
Doesn't matter how I lost you
Or how many tears I have cried
CHORUS:
You will always be my angel
You are always living in my heart
You have changed my life forever
You're part of who I am ... my angel
Always my angel
VERSE:
All that matters is I love you
Even though, our time is gone
I will never lose the memory
Of ways . . . we shared . . . our lives
CHORUS:
You will always be my angel
You are always living in my heart.
You have changed my life forever
You're part of who I am ... my angel.
BRIDGE:
You're part of who I am
My angel ...
you are never... far... from me
CHORUS:
You will always be my angel
You are always living in my heart.
You have changed my life forever
You're part of who I am
You will always be my angel...
You will always be my angel
My angel ... Always my angel
