Story Behind The Song
The lyrics were written in response to the state of the US in recent years, where a lot of people and corporations make a good living by stirring the pot and creating what I call manipulated outrage. I never really considered it as going with a reggae track until I saw a Broadjam listing for such. I tried the pairing out and indeed one plus one became a sweet two.
Song Description
As with many reggae songs, faith provides a way out of a tangled situation. Verse one brings up the shortcomings of social me-first media, the chorus says to look beyond yourself, verse two has the devil busting into your wireless buds and verse three says to dance with the king of creation.
