Jesus was born in Bethlehem, a child like you and me.
And He grew into a man they say and was called a Nazarene.
One day when He was 30 years old He walked into the temple to preach.
And they stared at Him not knowing how He got that kind of courage to teach.
And it was God that He talked about. And it was love that He taught.
And He showed us forgiveness for our sins, and on the cross He died and our lives He bought.
He went into the desert to be tempted, and Satan tried his best to deceive.
But this holy man would not give in for it was God that He desired to please.
As God directed Him he sought out His flock of men who vowed to follow Him. And He healed the sick and cured the lame, to show the love of God for them.
He was rejected by His family, and He was cursed by most men.
But He still cries for us to come home to Him, but will we ever turn away from sin.
For Jesus Christ is the only way to break that bondage of self.
And there is no better life than the life He gives, for in our hearts He comes and truly lives.
And He replaces our stony hearts and gives us hearts made a flesh.
And He heals all our hurts and our brokenness, if only we turn to Him and our sins confess.
Because He loves us so. Just turn to Him. Just reach out your hand. Just call on His name. JESUS!
