Story Behind The Song
...wrote this song shortly after my girl and I broke up...kind of a half-hearted attempt to win her back, I guess, but I think it was more everything else that was going on at the time and "she" became a compilation of a "few" of the women in my life.
Song Description
The frustration of love. How someone would like to be there, but how the bagage of life or those little things...that drive you up the wall...prevent that love from coming to fruition.

Lyrics
Let Me In
I got the whole of my world wrapped up in you
Must be that crazy old voodoo
But whether it's your sun or stars
That calls me to fall this hard
You know I really couldn't say
I know you play havoc in my life
But you know that I'd pay any price
If you'd only let me in
So, now you've hidden your love away
Savin your heart for some old rainy day
But darlin love could pass you by
You know that I don't mean to pry
But there's sadness in your way
I know you play havoc in my life
But you know that I'd pay any price
If you'd only let me in
So, here I stand a bagger hat in hand
Nothing to offer and no better plan
But darlin if you'd only let me through
You know that I could pull ya through
Kiss it better make it alright
So, now my world is upside down
Not the same fighter pound for pound
Therefore I seek compromise
Hell ya know I sympathize
But if you'd only change your way
I know you play havoc in my life
But you know that I'd pay any price
If you'd only let me in
