Great tune, Musicianship is excellent, can picture this in a movie like American Pie
I really like Weezer, and this song, a perfect Rivers Cuomo kind of song, should have been on their White album and released as the lead off single! The catchy Beach Boys melody with Kiss guitars make for a great Weezer song. Lyrically full of teenage crush to match the crazy roller coaster ride of guitar notes up and down the scales. The beginning is impeccable: driving eighth notes simultaneously from guitars and drums going straight into the song. It pulled me right in.
Warren knows how to write 'em the way rock was meant to be written!
Good song. Really well recorded, performed and produced. I suspect this was written by a guitar player. There's a heavy guitar vibe. Great length. This has good potential - especially for a movie or something.
I really liked this song. A Lot better than most of the low grade recorded garbage I've heard on here in a long time. Tune had a lot of great energy and good movement. Could see this song in a TV show or some kinda of commercial.
I like the overall vibe of the song. I absolutely love the instrumentation.
Great production sound right off the bat. Love when the harmonies come in. Great harmony guitars in the instrumental part too. I love this song...very catchy. Nothing constructive I can think of because I think you were totally on the mark with this song :-)
Love the energy and feel of the song. Recording has clarity and rocks. Performances are top notch.
Good work here.......like the mix.......good bass and drums( and guitar.....and vocals)..... Really enjoyed this one....
Good stuff. More 80s rock but good.
engaging vocal tones, buzzy guitar. like the lyrics, kinda youthful, groovy energy. the band sounds good, nice backing vocals...
Great musicianship. Nice guitar especially. Good track/mix, etc.
Really well played rock song. Builds tension & dynamics in all the right places.
Nice tune with a vocal style that fits well. Loved the precision and tone of the guitar. Great playing with that overdriven but tidy tone as well as control and leaving the spaces in the right places to make this crisp. Great job with that doubled guitar at 1:11. Production sounded excellent with clarity and definition.
This track sounds like it's straight out of the 80's. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Vintage. Could definitely be used for 80's period usage. Sounds like it could maybe be in an old John Cusack movie. Vocals, instruments, recording, lyrics all solid for throwback purposes. I'd push it for period usage. Keep up the good work.
