Story Behind The Song
I came up with this guitar riff where the mjusic keeps coming back to the same riff in the original key, and it fascinated me, and it still fascinates me. If the melody and chord progression are the two most important aspects sof a hit song, then I don't know why this song had not been a big hit for somebody.
Song Description
Disagreements sometimes are over nothing, but once certain words are spoken, they cannot be taken back nor forgotten, and we have to pay the price for saying them.

Lyrics
I'm So Glad It's Over (I Could Cry) by Glenn Warren and Worley Max McKinney
I've dialed her old home number....every hour. night and day...
Her phone machine says if it's me, we've got nothing more to say;
I can't say I blame her...I said some things in anger...
That a man who loves a woman should never say.
Chorus: I told her I was so glad it's over;
In the passion of the moment...
I did my talkin' with my pride;
God, tonight I wish I could hold her...
I'd show her I'm So Glad It's Over...
I'm So Glad It's Over...
I'm So Glad It's Over...I Could Cry.
i've worn out pens and wasted paper...
Trying to write my feelings down;
But in black and white, the words I write...
Have such a hollow sound;
If she could see this tear-stained paper...
She'd be in my arms tonight...
'Cause I know her heart could read between the lines.
Chorus: I told her I was so glad it's over;
In the passion of the moment...
I did my talkin' with my pride;
God, tonight I wish I could hold her...
I'd show her I'm So Glad It's Over...
I'm So Glad It's Over...
I'm So Glad It's Over...I Could Cry.
