Story Behind The Song
A play off of deja vu, it seemed a natural to write "Deja Blue." Since I first pitched this song many years ago, others have written songs with this title. But our song has been a top 30 hit in Australia.
Song Description
With a great melody, imagery, and a great demo, "Deja Blue" is one of my best songs ever. The Muse was smiling on us when we wrote this one, a little different take on the "I'm still missing you" theme.

Lyrics
Deja Blue by Glenn Warren and Worley Max McKinney
That lonesome wind is cryin' through the trees tonight...
I swear I hear it whispering your name;
The least that old blue moon could do...Is hide his face from sight;
He's shinin' bright...but I sure feel like rain;
It's an old familiar feeling anymore...
I know it well...'cause I've been here before.
Chorus: Deja Blue...Missin' You Again...
Will it never end? What a mess you left me in;
Deja Blue...Don't know what to do...
Everytime I think of you,..Deja Blue.
Drove all over town last night...Didn't have no place to go...
But I didn't want to stay at home alone;
I stopped and dialed the dj...on the all-night radio...
And asked him would he please not play our song?
When he said it was a strange request, well, I had to agree...
But you're no ordinary memory;
Chorus: Deja Blue...Missin' You Again...
Will it never end? What a mess you left me in;
Deja Blue...Don't know what to do...
Everytime I think of you...Deja Blue;
Everytime I think of you...Deja Blue.
