AFTER MANY YEARS OF SOLITARY EXISTENCE, ON A DISTANT PATH IN ANOTHER FAR AWAY STATE, I BUMPED INTO A LADY WHO I HAD A STRONG CRUSH ON IN HIGH SCHOOL. SHE WAS WARM, RECEPTIVE AND ENCOURAGING. ONE THING LED TO ANOTHER. WE RENDEVOUSED FOR A BRIEF, NIRVANAESQUE HOLIDAY, BUT UPON DISCOVERING SHE HAD OTHER ROMANTIC INTERESTS AND DID NOT REALLY SHARE MY CORE BELIEFS, WE SOON WENT OUR SEPARATE WAYS.
