a friend in hillsboro just recently underwent chemotherapy for lung cancer. knowing what a courageous person she is and seeing how well she has been dealing with the cards dealt her, i was inspired to write this song of hope

what initially spired this song was a longtime personal desire to compose something beatle-mccartney-esque. initially, i played some versions of h.o.t.w. borrowing beatle guitar riffs but i ultimately decided to write it following an altogether different vein.
