Story Behind The Song
I wrote the song while driving a tractor one day. I had a pen and paper, but didn't have anything to record the melody on until I got home that night. I spent the whole day trying to focus on that melody, so I wouldn't forget it.

Lyrics
PLEASE DON'T TELL ME IT'S OVER
First I apologize for what I've put you through
There are some things I've said and done that can't be excused
I hope you'll forgive me for though I've made mistakes
I never intended for your heart to break
CHORUS:
Please Don't Tell Me It's Over before we begin
I can't face the future if our love must end
And no matter what happens and you know this is true
There's one thing for certain I'll always love you
There's no genie in the bottle no magic in the glass
No wand I can wave dear to alter the past
If I could go back in time I'd erase the pain
And re-write our story so you'd love me again
REPEAR CHORUS:
