Story Behind The Song
I wrote it after my granddaughter and dog had been playing in our yard and came in for a snack. Someone snapped this photo and after seeing it, I knew I was going to write a song about them.

Lyrics
Memories That Last Forever
A curly blonde haired girl and a big ole red haired dog
Out there in the back yard chasin' a toad frog
'Tween the barkin' and the gigglin' and the runnin' round the tree
I watch them as they're smilin' lookin' up at me
Chorus: And I wouldn't trade this moment for nothin'
Between the two of them-man they're really somethin'
If his brown eyes don't get you her blue eyes will
When the two of them get together
They're makin' memories that last forever
She says she's gettin' hungry and ask me for a snack
I walk into the house they both follow in my tracks
I reach out to open the refrigerator door
My heart begins to melt as they snuggle on the floor
Repeat Chorus:
She's all grown up now but she's still my little girl
She found that special man to her he means the world
I'm holdin' back the tears as I walk her down the aisle
She squeezes my arm looks at me and smiles
Chorus: And I wouldn't trade this moment for nothin'
Between the two of them man they're really somethin'
If his brown eyes don't get you her blue eyes will
When the two of them get together
They're makin' memories that last forever
When the two of them get together
They're Making Memories That Last Forever
Making Memories That Last............. Forever
