Story Behind The Song
This is a true story about a "drunk" who was at the bar when I was setting up to perform later that day. He was still there when my show began & when it ended. We got along quite well. For all I know, he may still be there now.

Lyrics
Just Another Drunk in the Crowd
He got here before happy hour - Drinkin' double whiskey & sour
Four sheets to the wind a shit-eatin' grin & struttin' like a Hollywood star (but)
CHORUS
He's just another drunk in the crowd - drinkin way too much & he's loud
I wish he'd go home but he won't leave us alone
Cause he's just another drunk in the crowd
All night he been tryin' to score hit on every girl on the floor
Then he crossed that line when he hit on mine & now I'm gonna show him the door
CHORUS
BRIDGE
Now trouble has been brewin' cuz he won't stop yahooin' expecting us to give him a hand
don't realize he's hated cause he's intoxicated & I can't seem to make him understand
I try to make it perfectly clear but he just laughs & buys me a beer
Next we're doin' shots & friend I mean lots, now I can't find my way out of here
CHORUS
Cause I'm just another drunk in the crowd, yea, drinkin way too much & I'm loud
And they wish I'd go home & leave 'em alone cause I'm just another drunk in the crowd
Yea they wish I'd go home & leave 'em alone cause I'm just another drunk in the crowd
But I ain't goin home, ain't gonna leave 'em alone
because I'm just another drunk in the crowd
