A friend was going through a difficult time in her life. She felt that she didn't want to be around people when she felt like that because they wouldn't want to be around someone so down. I wanted her to know that we all feel like that at one point in our lives, she's not alone. Although we feel like no one would like to be around us, that's when our friends want to be around us the most. Because they feel needed. Sometimes you don't want to talk but you would like to comfort of knowing someone is there. Silent support. That's what this song is about.
