Story Behind The Song

This song came about one day while I was in a tranformative time in my life. I had stopped taking additional college classes and had decided to pursue music with my whole heart. I wrote this song with a recording in mind. It became the first single off the new album.

Song Description

Won't back down is a straight forward song about not giving up on your dreams. The bright lights of the city and the people taht roam it's streets provided the inspiration for the lyrics. The tempo is upbeat and hopeful. The song features Ash St. John on violin and he wrote the orchestrations in the bridge and performed it. This song is incredibly catchy shows the songwriting prowess of the writer.
