Lyrics

"You're Not Comin' " © Mark S. Ludes (MSL)

Well, I'm sittin' on this bar stool, just wonderin' where you are.
Well, I'm sittin' on this bar stool, just wonderin' where you are.
Well I'm sittin' here it's only me, wonderin' where the hell you are.

Well I'm thinkin' as I'm drinkin', "she'll be here soon you'll see".
Well I'm thinkin' as I'm drinkin', "she'll be here soon you'll see".
Well I'm thinkin' some and drinkin' more, wondering where that she could be.

Well I guess that you're not comin', no...you're not comin' at all.
Well I guess that you're not comin', no...you're not comin' at all.
Well you sure won't find me by the phone, waiting for your call.
Last verse:
Well for sure this time I know, no you're not gonna show.
Well for sure this time I know, so you're not gonna show.
Well just give me another straight shot, just one more for the road!

More solo... (ad lib vocals)
end.

I liked the dominant rhythm guitar chording and and interplay with the percussion. The keys and bass provided a full instrumental accompaniment to the vocals. I also liked the repeat-answering vocal backing tracks. The lead vocal had some good lyric phrasing. Good lead guitar fills. All tracks were thoughtfully mixed.

Great stuff. Band is rockin!!

Great opening riff and great groove. Reminds me of Johnny Winter for some reason with some great guitar playing. Great blues song also vocals and backing vocals are great.

HEAVY AS HELL..and THICK!!!
Totally cool groove....
nice licks and vocal works well...

I like the blues/rock feel of the arrangement, especially the guitar. Good solos, and good overall sound. Lyrics fit the genre well, and tell a familiar story. Could be a good song to see performed live.

Decent blues and I like the guitar riffs. Effects are a little too overpowering, in my opinion. Doesn't need it! This definitely has potential for film placement.

nice and pleasant - clean, clear, timing is good, keep up the good work!

It's an overall good track. The
vocal is a little lost in the mix.
The message of the song is not
clear enough. Otherwise a good
blues number.

Rocking bluest tune just itching to get on the radio. Smoking guitar solo ala Jeff Beck around Rough and Ready.

good blues rock. ideal bar band blues. liked the lead guitar and sound. good style. This track gets more enjoyable as it goes along. very good

Sweet and simple blues. Sounds extra nice with the the variety voices. Easy to sing along with. Floats all the way through.

OH--HELL YEAH!--what a great JAM--I dig it--big time!--thanxs!--joe

I don't listen to this style ever but loved it :)

This puts me in the mood for some DOORS! Mucho cool sense of retro blues/rock! More!

Great blues work....nice really full sound......excellent guitar.......
