Story Behind The Song

Been lurking around since 2004 in a partially completed state so with the uptake of "White Goods" I thought I would give it a makeover. So here it is with all it's 80's synth colors.

Song Description

This was part of the White Goods project that didn't make it onto the EP. Reworked in 2025 it's a depiction of cooking dinner. It starts disconnected as the various constituents are introduced to the cooking schedule and then settles into the slow simmer. Suddenly it becomes apparent that it will not all be done in time and the flames are re-ignited. And then it ends happily as they all come together at the end.
