Story Behind The Song

Track 2 in an EP of proposed TV themes in unusual time signatures. Began as a speculative mantra repeat which inspired a dream of the short story et voila!

Song Description

On a dark desert highway. . . no wait that's been done. A UFO is circling creating a strange atmosphere and scanning for who knows what. The Blob decides to take a drive in the vintage pickup and attracts the attention of the UFO who engage it with a teleportation beam. They extract the Blob who suffers a lapsed time event and is then returned to the pickup to resume he journey until it parks up with only a memory of the alien influence.
