Story Behind The Song
We've all had it happen - so this story is everyone's story. Lives and love are just far too complicated to ever assume a new lover will be in the exact same space we are at any point in a relationship - regardless of how good we think it's feeling. So, we need to buckle up, know there will be turbulence and that we don't always come out ahead in a relationship. Real love may still be waiting for us - out there.
Song Description
A guy takes a chance with a wild, young woman who loves the "chase" of her suitors. When our narrator sees he's one of many, he realizes it's time to cut himself loose, before he loses his mind along with whatever sliver of her heart he still occupies. It's a small town - and that only makes things far worse. Maybe there will be redemption somewhere else - out there.

Lyrics
One More Reason
Bernie Sims
It won't matter - anymore.
I've been losing this war.
It's my choosing - that's been poor.
Why I've held on - not sure.
Time and again - you've given me
One more reason - to end this love affair.
Everyone keeps askin' me -
"Why don't you leave her?
There's only trouble there."
All I've wanted - is your love.
You need more than - just one.
Why's it taken so damn long -
To see I don't belong?
Time and again - you've given me
One more reason - to end this love affair.
Everyone keeps askin' me -
"Why don't you leave her?
There's only trouble there."
Up to now, I've let you get away -
with walkin' all over my heart.
This is the night - I'm takin' it back. -
Hello, NEW START!
Time and again - you've given me
One more reason - to end this love affair.
The point of no return is finally here.
Openin' my eyes, to real love still out there.
Yeah - ay ooo
