Story Behind The Song
While most of us think of love and romance in warm and pleasant terms, for many, especially women, this is far from the case. This song was crafted to recognize this imbalance and get the story in front of a very large audience to hear and consider. This issue of domestic abuse may never be eradicated, but if enough attention can be focused on it's terrifying presence and impact on our society, perhaps our legal and law enforcement systems can be used to craft effective deterrents and dramatically reduce its impact on its victims.
Song Description
What started out as a new and exciting relationship has tragically morphed into a violent and abusive one. She did not see it coming. Suddenly finds herself a prisoner - caught in a drama she literally cannot escape. Even when he is not right there next to her, she still feels shackled to this inescapable force of fear and evil.
