Nightwork,an all original rock band originated in Northern California in 1977. Allan Stanton, a well known L.A. publisher came to see the band perform in Sacramento and strongly encouraged them to move to Los Angeles. In 1979 they signed a Publishing/Production contract with Mistral Entertainment. The first album was produced by Bob Freeze and Stephen Miller. The second album was produced by Michel Banon with arrangements by Michel Columbier accompanied by The yellowJackets, a group of famous L.A. session musicians. Nightwork continued playing live shows and recording in L.A. until 1984.The band regrouped in Boston Mass in1985 (hence "Nitework") with an all new lineup featuring lead singer and songwriter Paul David Killeen, lead guitarist Dominic Zocchi and dummer Kevin Newton. They disbanded after five years of recording and playing original material in New England and New York clubs and colleges.

Hi Paul, Thanks so much for a VERY thoughtful and insightful review. The Beatles Revolver comparison is pretty much all I could ever want!! Your own music makes me think Billy Joel meets The Cars with a touch of Bowie (One More Time); very strong Pop!

Jeff, I don't give that comment unless what I hear makes me think Beatles. It's very rare. The sound you have on "What You Do" is influenced (directly or indirectly) by The Beatles. You're a prolific writer. Melodies and messages. That's what stands out and why I like many of your songs. Keep it up Jeff.
BTW In 2 weeks it will be 50 Yrs since The Beatles 1st US visit.
