My name is Rhonda Laverne Burl. I was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area; known for its varied lifestyles and main tourist attraction-Golden Gate Bridge.
I grew up listening to the radio stations KDIA and KSOL. Music became embedded in my spirit in an inexplicably way. Throughout the years it became my catalyst for writing. I am inspired by all genre of music. While I can't classify myself as a singer or a musician, I can strongly classify myself as a great lyricist.
In August 2004, I collaborated with a great keyboardist. I picked one of my songs from 1998. "Throw Love Away". A country-western tune recorded in an R&B flavor. It was performed locally November 2004, at Club Jazz Nouveau. Recently the song was rerecorded to reflect a more traditional country-western Style.

I grew up listening to the radio stations KDIA and KSOL. I am inspired by all genre of music. While I can't classify myself as a singer or a musician, I can strongly classify myself as a great lyricist and songwriter/producer.
In August 2004, I collaborated with a great keyboardist, John Honore. We produced the song "Throw Love Away". It was performed locally November 2004, at Club Jazz Nouveau. Currently, I purchase tracks from various artists to record my lyrics. The final product is produced and recorded at Master Fade Studio, owned by John Honore in Berkeley CA. My main vocalist is Ishtar from Richmond CA.
I have a great love for music and poetry. I am always searching for music to accompany my lyrics. Thus far, I believe I have been quite successful judging by the reviews from Broadjam Artists. (Thanks for the beautiful reviews and critiques).
