In what could be best described as transitional years for me (KingHopeton), music was the one thing that remained constant. I would often remark, " I am music Music is me".smiling.. In my early youth, I enjoyed creating my own pieces of instruments, the popular guitar made from sardine tins with fishing line, identifying me with the oneness of MUSIC.

I garnered a wealth of knowledge and experience while growing up in Jamaica playing at local sessions, wedding and other functions all before I was sixteen years. Proving to be versed in most musical forms I govern the artistry of Reggae, Jazz, R&B, Mento and the classics through Jah Almighty. With such superb musical talent that Jah Almighty has bestowed on me, I soon became a part of the United Force Band, a St. Ann based show band of which I has been a member for 12 years.

United Force has received 5 consecutive awards by the Jamaica Federation of Music for Best Show band. The Band was founded by Hart Richards manager and pioneeer.

It was during my earlier years , I began to externalize who I really am, through Jah The Creator - I was and still am Inspired by the profound teachings of King David, King Solomon, Bob Marley, Jesus Christ, Haile Sellasie and Marcus Mosiah Garvey, my ancestors.

I (KingHopeton) write and produce my own music, the exceptional abilities given to me by Jah Almighty cannot be overemphasized. I also have several singles being aired across Radio Jamaica, Irie Fm, Zip Fm, 100.3 The Beat Fm which is located in California and others, songs played which I have heard before are Hard Times, Free Yourself, Crying Out For Peace, Our Father, Jah Jah Is The Creator, Stronger, Love Me, Don't Diss We, Best Friend, where do I go(Ethiopia) and Beat of My Heart with Kronic and several others.

I have made several guest appearances on TVJ's Smile Jamaica, CVM's Good Morning Jamaica , Reggae Sun and Boutya Tv also radio interviews locally and overseas, in the UK, New York, Africa and the Caribbean.

I now reside all over the world as i know that you all feel the energy that Jah almighty sends through I and the I.

The King has a message, the music that Jah Almighty has blessed me with to the people embraces us with words of inspiration and hope.

Seen as a true revolutionist, Disciple, King, Priest, Missionary, Saviour , and a servant of the Most High, KingHopeton's mission does not regard fame or material gain. I stand strong to save humanity. "WE ARE OUR OWN GODS. Let us learn to love so others can love as we love".
