Kat Tree Bio

"Wondering Minstrel & Weaver of Fine Songs" Kat Tree has been a Singer/Songwriter for over 30 years performing in Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.

She performed at the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Texas Rockfest as a solo acoustic artist. She has recently returned to Austin, Texas to complete her solo CD. Her previous work has been on compilation CDs available only abroad.

Kat has a unique vocal style which sets her apart from other artists.

Her melodies are touched by the mystical, her subject matter reflects strong ties to her Native American roots and deep love and respect for the earth and everything and everyone that lives here ~ We are all related ~

Her sets mix her own songs with the works of Leonard Cohen, John Prine, Lyle Lovett, Bob Dylan, Bruce Robison, Linda Ronstadt, Van Morrison and Rosalie Sorrells. Kat Tree welcomes the opportunity to come to your venue and prove she is a Weaver of Fine Songs.

Kat Tree has recorded some of her songs as Full Band Versions (available for licensing) as well as solo acoustic versions which represent what she can perform at your venue.
