I wrote this song never intending it for anyone else's ears. It is an expression of longing, of lost love & the hope for new & the undeniable connection that can happen when two souls meet.
Song Description
Siren Song is a love song, a soft gypsy samba that speaks of seduction, hints at separation and rejoices at reunion.
Wrapped in the myth of the Siren whose songs no man can resist. The new love is bewitched; his heart is captured. His eyes reveal his love, his heart feels no fear. He has visions and memories and longing for his new lover.
The haunting chorus speaks of his thoughts returning to her each night suggesting this was a brief encounter he can't get out of his head. She is calling him in his dreams but with the certainty of meeting again.
Siren Song is a story where the woman is in charge; it is empowering to woman in a subtle way.
