JOHN GARR
In 1982, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee, where he met JOE STAMPLEY, with whom he toured for eight years, doing appearances on the nationally syndicated shows 'HEE HAW', TNN'S "NASHVILLE NOW", "NASHVILLE GOSPEL", and a host of other top shows. He also appeared in the "MOE AND JOE" hit country video, "BOYS NIGHT OUT", and performed on their hit album, "LIVE AT BAD BOB'S".
Finally, wanting to go it alone, he formed "THE JOHN GARR BAND" in Nashville, playing a mixture of oldies, country and original tunes. John and his band was the house band on the local hit television show, "THE SATURDAY MORNING SHOW" for four years. He wrote the theme song "JAMMIN", which was nominated for an EMMY in 1992.
John's creative genius, combined with his never-ending desire to succeed, has paid off. His unique interpretation of music, his many versatile talents and styles, and his knowledge of "the road", have developed him as a seasoned artist who knows how to please an audience.
