As one half of critically acclaimed duo The Reverb Brothers, Jimmy Rae was tipped by many to be part of the second wave of Merseybeat hitmakers in the 1980s.

Signed to RCA Records and EMI Music Publishing, the band released 3 singles and toured UK and Europe with Joe Jackson and OMD before JImmy pressed the self destruct botton and quit the band and the business in late '87.

Twenty years later Jimmy has rediscovered the love of writing and performing his own music and is now winning over a new generation of fans with his songs of lost loves and dead end jobs. His debut album 'Deliverance' was released in June 2009 on Matchbox Recordings and is receiving excellent reviews (4/5 stars in Rock'n'Reel magazine) and airplay on both mainstream and country radio.
