Bio

Jasmine Crowe (Vocals/Violin/Keys/Guitar)
Josh Carey "Buff Daddy" (Producer/Drummer)

A classical violinist since age 3, Jasmine also had a natural talent for singing at 5. Influenced by pop music, broadway musicals, orchestral arrangements, and classic rock, she wrote her first song at 14. When she wasn't performing in local musicals or the university orchestra, she was also jamming in rock bands with her fiddle. Having a voice of her own, she picked up the guitar at age 16 and also began songwriting on piano.

The only element missing was the backbeat. Josh had been playing drums in hard rock bands for years with his brother Adam on bass. Writing songs and looking for a project to get behind, when Jasmine and Josh met, they found they had much more than music in common - the chemistry was instant! Josh's Bonham-influenced feel for drums combined with Jasmine's melodic voice and use of strings developed their sound into a heavier, majestic backdrop for their pop songs.

Having moved from the Big Island of Hawai'i where Jasmine was born and raised, the songwriting team now resides in California where they are currently writing and producing in the studio.

Jasmine, SuperNova indeed! Super Look, super Vibe, Super Lyrics and Super Orchestration, not to mention Super Sexy Vocal with European influence. You are a shoe-in for the Women of Substance opportunity for Radio Play. But to get your Plays to go SuperNova, you have to get your sound out. Broadjam is where your Friends are your Peers, and are all willing to help you achieve your goals. Some of my BJ Friends have become real, and we have worked together to make beautiful music. Without them, I would be lost. Welcome and Love Be Loved
