Her voice soars up to operatic lyric-dramatic soprano repertoire, and down to sensuous jazz/blues. Ever adventurous, this award-winning singer has emblazoned her own unique path in the classical/pop world. This is because of a career in experimental music & cutting-edge theatre. Goldee has performed twice at Alice Tully Hall/Lincoln Center; Kennedy Center, La Mama Cafe, Theatre for the New City, Knitting Factory, CBGB's, The Kitchen, Federal Theatre, Knitting Factory, SF's Theatre Artaud, The Public Theatre, Jacob's Pillow, St. Patrick's Cathedral,The Painted Bride, Caroline's Comedy Club, ArtPark and countless other venues including Amsterdam, Paris and Lesotho, Africa.
She is Artistic Director of BIG VOICES, a network of professional singers whose mission is to open the world of opera and Broadway to a broader audience.

Also a gifted playwright/composer and
lyricist, her hit musical comedy, Sprang Thang, enjoyed an Off-Broadway run, produced by Amas Musical Theatre Company. She has co-written a book, Plane Fun With Alexander Calder, writes a weekly Arts & Entertainment column for the Beacon Free Press/Southern Dutchess News and is a contributor to Chronogram magazine. Goldee earned her BFA in Theatre Arts from LIU/C.W. Post School of Visual & Performing Arts and a MS in Elementary Education from Bank Street College.
