Once named "ARIZONA SONGWRITER OF THE YEAR" and winner of the "TEMPE SONGWRITING CONTEST", FREDDIE DURAN has been performing and recording in and around the desert southwest for most of his life.

Freddie has recorded 2 albums with his group "FREDDIE DURAN PLAN" as well as doing countless guest spots on other projects as a vocalist.

Freddie's voice can also be heard on the airwaves of Phoenix radio and TV stations fairly often as he is a popular jingles singer and writer.

Originally from New Mexico, he draws upon the beauty and culture of the southwest for much of his inspiration. He also likes to write about the "politics of love and life", creatively blending his musical and verbal vocabulary skills to construct a number of intruiging situations and thought provoking themes.

Freddie is currently working on his first movie score for the independent film "Florence", using a variety of styles from acoustic to full orchestral arrangements to create a diverse musical bed for which the drama of the movie will rest upon.
