Hi Chris, many thanks for your review of the instrumental version of Homesick - I'm glad you enjoyed the song. Listening again, you are spot on with your comments re the mix, I might well return to that one of these days. One of my main faults is becoming washed out listening to a track over and over when I'm finalising it and can end up with dead ears!! This is one of those where, if I had a budget, I'd be better off sending it off to be mastered!! Feedback is invaluable, so I'm much obliged. Hi, Thanks for a very fair review of I Put Your Picture Away. The song seems to be chalk and cheese, some love it, some not so! The lyrics are by my then publisher and the rest is my doing, very much to her specification. I kind of like it but you are right about the tempo and the problem in making it flow. We did try speeding it up but ended up abandoning it! I really should remove it from BJ at some stage. Your review was constructive and helpful, much appreciated. Bob
I sometimes come across mean and or even harsh, im sorry if you took it this way. I'm just giving you the truth on how I hear it. I don't think you should remove the song however , as it's real and not a bad song at any rate. Always remember one person's B- side track is another's A-side.
Believe me, you didn't come across in any negative way. Even if you had done, I never take offence at genuine feedback, good or bad. No, these are my feelings about the song, it has had lots of good feedback over the years, but it's not my favourite. Absolutely no issue with your review sir - here's to the next one!

Thanks for the great review of ONE HIT WONDER , we had a lot of fun working with this one . Music aside , some of my relations moved to Toronto back in the late 50's / early 60s . None of the oldies left , but the 3rd generation are still out there !
