Hi Shakira (Art)n. Yes the tempo is quite fast.... our buddy Iraj recorded percussion tracks for me long ago and this song is a result of those sessions. There was nothing I could do about the speed, his tracks were the first things on this song so it set the tone for the entire song. Thanks for your spot on feedback. ;^)
Hi Shakila, congratulations on your new release! I wish you all the best!! Wanted to let you know that I re-recorded the drums and worked on the mix for my song "Medieval Games" and it sounds a lot cleaner and not so busy now. I think that is what was causing you to hear the song as "tempo rushed" which was a good analysis. I couldn't slow the song down but I did clean it up and have a drum track now that is not so busy and has a loot of good interplay and dynamics. Hope all is well with you guys and I hope to play with you again soon. David
