Hey T-Bone! How's it going? I have a question for you: How many submissions did you make before you placed a song/instrumental? Let me know. Thanks. Richard
I submitted to 6 different opportunities, 18 tracks in total before i was selected and placed. Remember, before you submit to any opportunities, read them thoroughly to make sure what you submit is what they're looking for. I've reviewed songs that have absolutely nothing to do with what the opportunity requested. that's just a waste of money.
I definitely read all the opportunities. I have done peer reviews and noticed the same thing - and you're right it is a waste of money. That's a great strategy to several tracks to 1 listing - if I do the math - it sounds like you submitted 3 tracks for each opportunity.
Just about. some i only submitted one or two tracks & more to those that were more in my genre. Tip: pay close attention to your sound quality. make sure your tracks don't have any clipping. your song might be good fit but poor sound quality will kill your chances of getting selected.
That's so true about sound quality. Thanks for the advice and sharing your story about how long it took before you were selected. I appreciate it.
No problem! Always happy to help out.
thanks for your positive comments about "fist pump"!!! that means so much to me coming from one of my peers!
You're welcome. It's uplifting - it's inspiring - you can pat yourself on the back for that one - job well done! I think I might listen to it right now. :)
pat pat! lol
Hey Liz, How are you? I hope all is well. I was wondering if you'd look over the lyrics to a song I just wrote. I tried your email but it keeps bouncing back. Did you change your email? Let me know. Thanks. Richard

Hey Liz, I sent the lyrics off a while ago - did you get a chance to look them over? Let me know. Thanks. Richard
I've been in Drexel University studying Nurse Informatics and writing papers and songs and working and raising kids... send them again in a little while, or come over my house(you know where I live)
