His love affair with songwriting began at age 10 and hasn't stopped; after training at two performing arts schools (University of the Arts & Baltimore School for the Arts), songwriter/producer, Richard Smith-Beverly (RSB), is ready to make his mark in the world of Pop music. His slick production, creative lyric expressions, and soul filled vocals are key attributes that will convince any music listener that his music is worth their attention. His foray into music production came out of necessity. "I just decided a long time ago that I wanted the production of my songs to be what I envisioned." While studying at UARTS he arranged for big band, orchestrated for small chamber orchestras, and he's gained more than enough skills to do what he loves songwriting and producing. A confessed chocoholic, "I have it almost everyday." When he's not in the studio writing a new infectious hook, composing music, or rehearsing with his band, he enjoys spending time with his friends and family.
