Ronald, Just listened to "The Aftermath" and was blown away with that gorgeous sax lead, and all of the tastey instrumentation and arrangement! Very moving tune, and I congratulate you all on a wonderful piece of music. Best wishes to you! Cyndi

thanks for the review of "fatherless son". "too soon" was purposely doubled up to add emphasise and meaning :). two years after my "old man" passed on i finally managed to write a song that was not all " i loved you and miss you blurb". and it took a very very short time to write. onde day I plan to do something special with it, but meanwhile its on our 2009 CD. thanks again. tom
i'm not a trophy/thanks-joe.
Sorry, I didn't hear it right!

Thank you Tom for the response back. You are definitely a talent! Take Care! Ronald Jean
Ronald: Thanks for your kind review. Love your stuff. You don't belong to a genre, you're just musical. That's a beautiful thing. R. Mack Harrell
Hi Ronald. Thanks for the review of Pinto Pony, the surf instrumental. You got it exactly right. I uploaded it strictly to submit it for an opportunity looking for retro-sounding surf tunes for a surfing movie. This tune was actually recorded in about 1989. I appreciate your taking the time to give it a listen and write a review. I'll look forward to returning the favor.
If that's Michelle performing the vocals, she's GREAT.
Thank you Kenton! I am glad I didn't offend you! Yes, that is Michelle Prentice. She lives in Nashville now. Take Care! Ronald Jean
Not offended in the least. I thought it was a very accurate review. I do like to explain to people that it's an older recording, and not really intended to pitch to a general audience, or to represent the majority of my songwriting or anything. I need to put up some of the "real" stuff at some point. Cheers, and best of luck in your musical adventures.
Oh, also right on about the production quality of Requiem For A Gunfighter. I did that on my four-track in the living room. I really did intentionally make those recordings "low-fi", and left all the warts on them, but given the chance to do it again in a studio and make it better, I'd be all over it.
