Thank you for your thoughtful review of my song Liberty Express. Susan Nikas
Hello Richard, I just listened to One more is too many....and it gave me GOOSEBUMPS. It is really really really a great song and I am clapping for you down here in Callahan. The only thing I wasn't wild about was the echoing stuff your singer did at the end. I think I would have rather heard a unison choral or back up choir on those...but not a big deal. You've got yourself a WINNER, Richard, a real emotion-grabbing tear-jerker, and I wish you the best with your song. Your songwriting friend in FL, Mrs. Kate
Hi Richard, thanks for the review of "I've Missed You". There is a beautiful vocal on my site which Phoebe Blume from Broadjam did for me. Check it out if you get a chance. All the best, Felice Kaye-Cooper

my song--car lot blues--thanks for the nice review--cheers--joe.
Hi Richard, I wrote this song as a joke based on the old cliche for women that "Men won't buy the cow, if all the milk is free." I found that none of my male friends thought it was very funny; but "kept cow" came out of that. Sorry...Sue

Hi Richard, Thank you for your kind review of Clay County's tune; Clay County Breakdown. If you want to hear lyrics go to my home site and listen to a song or two. I have listened to a couple of yours and they are very good. Clay County Breakdown is the only instrumental on my site. Best Regards, Susan Nikas
Thank you. I will check out your lyrics.
Richard: Thanks for your thoughtful review. Mack Harrell
Hi Richard. Thanks very much for the review of Requiem For A Gunfighter. You're right about the intro being pretty long. Producers generally tend to steer away from that. I would probably shorten that up if I were going to do it in the studio. This recording came from a project where I just did acoustic versions of a bunch of my tunes on a four track in the living room, and was shooting for a sort of folky. field recording feel. I gave copies to friends. I posted the song up for a specific Broadjam opp, and just opened it for review on a lark. I think I'll go back and round up some of my more polished recordings for future submissions. I appreciate your taking time out to listen and comment. Cheers.
Thank you very much, Richard, yet again! for your very helpful and solid review comments on The Human Race. You have a knack for reaching right inside a song and understanding its emotional core. best, jay
