Hi Natalee, Thank you for a kind review of Bobby McGee. You are quite right about the vocal needing some work, it's on the list to re-record. (I recorded it at a time when I had vocal cord problems and thought I might not get another chance. Thankfully, this has been dealt with and my voice is steadily returning.) Have just skipped through some of your impressive catalogue and now listening to The War. Sadly, it would be a very appropriate backdrop for events in your country of origin right now. Hi Kate, It is always a pleasure for me to come back to your material - it is very recognizable and filled with light. Yes, I'm still in Ukraine. I could leave the first weeks to a safe place with friends in Europe, but I could not leave my brother. Men are not allowed out of the country. For the first three months, unfortunately, every day and night rockets flew right near my house. I watched with my own eyes how the houses opposite were left without floors, I saw various weapons flying in the sky. There was nowhere to hide, it was cold - we hid near the bathroom in the hope that this would save us if the missile hit the house. I didn't sleep at all for months. For the first two weeks, I did not close my eyes for one night, because of which I then became very seriously ill. At the moment, you no longer have to pray every second of your life, but the entire territory of the country, each region still lives every day to the sound of sirens. Every night, friends realize that a missile may fly somewhere near their house. Sometimes the nights are the most restless. There are reasons to worry about the lives of loved ones. All these explosions sound as scary as possible. Every time you pray about these flying stuff flowed past you and those you love. We've been in this for half a year... I don't know when it will end. Hope it'll end one day. We were so glad when spring came. Because the sun came out, the flowers bloomed. Nature helps a lot to cope somehow with this. Thank you, Kate
