Speaking of blog posts (thanks much, Todd!), check out my first in a series examining what makes a great performance great. Key takeaway from Big Mama Thornton's "Hound Dog": Relax, baby, relax! http://kylehendersonmusic.com 1
Hey, David, thanks for the email. Look forward to listening to your stuff!
Hey! Good to connect with your personages. :-)
Hi Kyle, ONE OF THE BEST VOCALS I HAVE HEARD IN A LONG TIME! Great material ;) Greetings from a muisc producer / songwriter in Australia. Sven www.kittygroove.com
Sven, thanks so much for that, man. Much appreciated!
Hey, just curious, which song did you hear?
Winner Takes It All - great track ;)
Loved The Producers! Also loved the "More Than the Look of Love" solo album, also from the 80's. I think I wore out my cassette, but I still have an unopened copy on vinyl! Collectors item!! -Dustin Wray
Dustin, thanks much, man!
Roy, you'll dig this. Looks like I won a place in Singer Universe's December "Top 5 Vocalists of the Month": http://bit.ly/uJN2Ru 1 Thanks for posting the contest in Broadjam, brutha!

Hey, Roy, thanks for posting a link to the Singer Universe monthly contest. Looks like yours truly is in the December "Best Five Vocalists of the Month". Awesome! http://bit.ly/uJN2Ru 1
Wow, the 6-pack is a roller coaster for me! From on the top-20 bubble to in the top 20 to dropping like a rock off the radar to back in the top 20! Roy, you folks at Broadjam really know how to maximize the social-media engagement, as they call it in the conferences and stuff. :-)
and, this roller coaster/elevator ride ain't over until a week from this coming Monday when the reviews are all caught up. hold on tight, cuz the fun ain't over yet. . .
Yeah, I figured. I'd written it off as of yesterday. I just decided to take a peek this morning, and boom! Totally different. Fun stuff.
PGO, you're right! I'm totally in the dog house. Nowhere near the leader board. From first to worst in a single day. Yeesh!
the Leaderboard Giveth and the Leaderboard Taketh Away. . . actually developed a theory last year: the University of Wisconsin Psychology Dept is conducting a social experiment under the code name of "Pavlov's Musicians". utilizing secret software developed by the Pentagon, every time we hit the 6 pack link, the professors are able to record our facial expressions using the cams built into our computers. so, if you wanna mess with the experiment, put on a halloween mask before you look at the leaderboard next. that'll fix'em. LOL!
Hey, Bobby, "Certain Kind of Girl," eh? A blast from the (distant) past. :-) Look forward to hearing your stuff. I'm new to Broadjam, so I'm just getting used to how it all works. Cheers!
Still got the vinyl....
Hey, Nils, thanks much for the kind note. Best of luck, and cheers! ~Kyle
Kyle, I love how you cover the Blues/Soul corner completely different from what my friend and co-conspirator PGO and I do in our little project JACK the Blues. Yes, that play on words is intentional. And your pipes are just phenomenal.
Nils, thanks much, man! I look forward to hearing your stuff. I'm pretty new to Broadjam -- at least to being a user of it. I'm learning how to get around. Thanks again for the connect ... and the lift!
