Thanks! Your kind words encouraged me to checkout a few of your tunes: "In Your Hands" is a powerful song with a great performance. Good luck with it and all of your music.

Congratulations on having had one or more of your songs "selected" from the pitch opportunities. I was wondering if you were ever contacted and if you feel that making pitches to Broadjam has been a good financial decision for you. Thank you, Donna donalarose@aol.com

Hey Donna! So far even though I've had a few "selections" or considerations, I have not received any placements and I've probably put $500+ into submissions. Still holding out to see what happens!

Hi D'Simone. Just been lucky enough to have reviewed Obstacles. How could I give it any less than I have?? A great song. I'll have a listen to some more very soon.
All the best from a cold wet England

Hey Maureen...thanks so much for taking time to check out my music. I love getting feedback, especially from other songwriters. Both of those tunes will be on my debut CD, which I've been recording over the past year and hope to release this spring. All the best ~ D

Was just reviewing songs for one of the licensing opps and Best Day Yet came up. Awesome song! Production is really great, but it all starts with a good song...and that one definitely stands out from the crowd. Best of luck! ~D'Simone

Thanks for your review of my tune Grab The Moment, D'Simone. I'm glad you liked the guitar line at the intro. If I get the chance, I'll go back and pull it forward in the mix after the choruses, as you suggested.

Liked your tracks Let it Fly and Sleepwalking (especially the soaring chorus on the latter), but Desert Rain wouldn't play. Does it play for you from Broadjam, or is there a problem somewhere?

Thanks for your brief but positive review. Hopefully, RAT Machine Gun will get placed in a movie, all right! :) Love 'Let It Fly' - cool groove with easy, soulful vocals. Ongoing good luck.

Hi Drew, I went back and listed to the song again a few times, I also listened to Let the Rain Fall and Remains the Same. Both are great songs. Remains the Same is exceptional. I wasn't feeling Free, for a few reasons. Critics are like you know what :) So take it for what it's worth. There are a few too many rhymes in the song that I would go back and replace. Based on the other songs I heard from you I know you have better in you. I like the premise of the song, but the production is distracting. It drags a bit and the drums with no bass sound does not help the song. The drum feel takes away from the song, I would try something with a little more shuffle, not quite 50 ways to leave your lover but more in that direction.

Again after listening to just a couple of your other songs, it sounds like you sang this song write when you wrote it or without really getting comfortable with how you wanted to phrase things so it's missing the emotion your other vocals have.

I'm sorry for the short review. I hope this is constructive. I think you are talented.
